The journey then leads to the ancient city of Салона, once the thriving capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. Surrounded by peaceful landscapes, its remarkable ruins tell the story of emperors, early Christianity, and a civilization that shaped the region for centuries.

Continue to the Olive Museum, where you can discover the rich tradition of olive growing in Dalmatia and learn about the region’s centuries-old connection with olive oil production.

The final stop is the magnificent Klis Fortress, a legendary stronghold famed for its role in Game of Thrones. Perched high above the coast, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of Split, the Adriatic islands, and a sunset that paints the sky in unforgettable shades of gold and crimson.

Step back in time as you explore its ancient stone walls, which have withstood centuries of battles and sieges. Once a key stronghold against Ottoman invasions, the fortress now stands as a testament to Croatia’s rich and turbulent history.

• Accessibility: The climb at Klis Fortress is not suitable for wheelchair users. Double-decker buses are equipped with a wheelchair ramp. Access to the open-top upper deck requires climbing several steps. Other buses do not have ramps. Wheelchair storage space is available on all buses.
• Dogs on a leash or in a carrier are permitted on the bus
• Weather Preparedness: On open-top buses, passengers are advised to use sun protection on bright days and wear wind-resistant clothing during windy conditions, especially in spring and autumn.

A guided walking tour of Split Old Town is included with every bus line ticket. Led by knowledgeable local guides, this immersive experience brings the city’s rich history and traditions to life during an approximately one-hour tour. The main highlight is Дворец Диоклетиана, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose ancient walls have sheltered more than seventeen centuries of continuous urban life and formed the cradle of medieval and modern Split, making it one of the world’s most remarkable living monuments.
