A short walk away lies the magnificent Amphitheatre, once capable of hosting up to 18,000 spectators for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles. Ascend to historic fortress, a site of strategic importance and breathtaking views. This fortress, also known for its appearance in “Game of Thrones,” offers panoramic vistas of Split and the surrounding islands. Step back in time as you explore its ancient stone walls, which have withstood centuries of battles and sieges. Once a key stronghold against Ottoman invasions, the fortress now stands as a testament to Croatia’s rich and turbulent history.

• Not included: Entrance fees for certain sites. However, passengers may receive discounted admission to some attractions through the bus staff.
• Accessibility: The climb at Klis Fortress is not suitable for wheelchair users. Double-decker buses are equipped with a wheelchair ramp. Access to the open-top upper deck requires climbing several steps. Other buses do not have ramps. Wheelchair storage space is available on all buses.
• Dogs on a leash or in a carrier are permitted on the bus
• Weather Preparedness: On open-top buses, passengers are advised to use sun protection on bright days and wear wind-resistant clothing during windy conditions, especially in spring and autumn.

Split Walking Tour (Old Town + Diocletian’s Palace)

Included in the Ticket Price

A guided walking tour of Split Old Town is included with every bus line ticket. Led by knowledgeable local guides, this immersive experience brings the city’s rich history and traditions to life during an approximately one-hour tour. The main highlight is 戴克里先宫, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose ancient walls have sheltered more than seventeen centuries of continuous urban life and formed the cradle of medieval and modern Split, making it one of the world’s most remarkable living monuments.

English (every day): 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:30
