Split City

Split is the capital of Dalmatia and if any city should offer loads of fun, it should be Split. When you’re done exploring the city and its history, Split has a whole other side to it and is ready to give you the time of your life!

Marjan forest makes up a big part of the city. Located west of the center, the forest is great for exploring any part of the day. Marjan has two main parts- the south and the north. The south side is used primarily for walks, drinking coffee, and enjoying the breathtaking view of sunny Split from its three viewpoints. We recommend climbing up to the third one because you can see all of the city and beyond. Also, there is a big playground and a zoo right under it so you can rest a bit while the little ones run around. The north side is hidden from the city’s noise and is perfect for outdoor activities like running, walking, or cycling. The walk to the point of this peninsula is around 3 kilometers long. After 1,8 kilometers you’ll find the most popular beach on Marjan, Bene. Here, you can have a drink and something to eat. Plus,  it’s a great place for kids.

Poljud is Split’s main stadium and home to HNK Hajduk. Visiting Poljud during any football match will definitely be a thing to remember. Hajduk is widely known for having one of the biggest and craziest fans, Torcida, and they are always ready to set up a show. Listening to tens of thousands of people sing together will for sure be an unforgettable memory you bring home from Split!

Right in the stadium’s complex is a laser tag arena. It is a 100% safe fun activity since you’re shooting non-material laser beams which cannot hurt anyone. Have fun with your friends and family and stock up on adrenaline!

Quads are another great way to have an exciting day filled with fun and wind in your hair. Split’s surrounding nature is not something that should be left undiscovered and the best way to explore it is by riding quads. If you want to team up with others or just go alone, we’ve got you covered. Sign up for our family quad tour or even a mountain quad tour if you feel daring enough and for any other info, kontakt oss!

If you’re looking for unforgettable nights, Split is ready to provide them. With many great clubs such as 305. A.D., Central, and Zenta, you won’t lack fun or great music and drinks. Make sure to check for entrance fees and what music will be playing!

Split is a great place to spend a few days before or after visiting Dalmatia’s islands because it gets you back to that dynamic city life and you get a perfect mixture of partying and historical education in the walls of Diocletian Palace!
