Soparnik Workshop & Lunch 

Learn the art of making Poljički soparnik, a traditional Dalmatian dish, followed by a hearty homemade lunch in a rustic tavern. Soparnik originates from the Poljica region and is often considered the precursor to modern pizza. It is a savory pie made with thin dough filled with Swiss chard, garlic, and olive oil, then baked on a hot stone and topped with more olive oil and garlic.

Salona

Just a few kilometres from the city centre lie the impressive remains of Salona, the ancient capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and one of the largest cities on the eastern Adriatic over 2,000 years ago.
Today, visitors can walk through the ruins of a once thriving city, past the amphitheatre, basilicas, city walls and early Christian cemeteries and experience the place where the story of Split truly begins.
