Description

After abdicating in 305 A.D., Roman Emperor Diocletian built a luxurious retirement villa in what is now Split, Croatia. Today, this remarkable monument is part of a vibrant, living city. UNESCO recognizes it as the best-preserved example of late-antique imperial architecture, designating it a World Heritage site.J oin us for a historical walk, where you’ll explore both the ancient wonders of Diocletian’s Palace and the rich local culture and everyday life of this bustling port city.

On our Walking tour of Split your licensed local guide will transfer you back in time! In 45 minutes to 1 hour, we will explore all the main historical and architectural highlights of this impressive edifice while strolling through the historical core of Split. Available in English four times a day: 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:30. On cruise ship days in Split, tours are also available in Italian at 9:30 and 11:00, and in Spanish at 10:00 and 11:30.
