Green Line 🚌 Bus stops & Highlights 🚏

Split – Riva (1) 

The Green Line bus tour starts in Split at Obala Lazareta 3. Along the route, the bus makes six stops where passengers can hop off, explore the location for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and then hop back on the next bus. A full panoramic loop through the Dalmatian Hinterland takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes if you choose to remain on board for the entire journey. There are two departures per day, at 12:15 and 13:45, with the last pickup starting from 15:30. The Green Line ticket also includes a complimentary walking tour of Split, allowing you to further discover the city’s historic center and cultural highlights.

Olive Museum (2) 

A rustic ambient tailored to exhibit the magical world of the Mediterranean.  The (manu)factory, the award-winning olive oil museum, the family estate, the tavern, the concept store, and the tranquil Mediterranean garden are here to introduce you to the region’s richness with all your senses. After you take a tour of the Stella Croatica (manu)factory, where local sweets are handmade, you can stroll through the delightful Mediterranean garden. You will be able to visit the award-winning Olive Oil Museum and learn all about the production of the famed ‘gold of the South’. Learn how traditional foods and essential oils are produced and enjoy the charm of the botanical garden – home to more than several hundred plant species. Visiting the shop, where you will be able to try local delicacies, see how they are made or – if you feel like – purchase natural beauty and culinary products at wholesale prices.

Salona Archaeological Site (5)

Before Split, there was Salona.
Just a few kilometres from the city centre lie the impressive remains of Salona, the ancient capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and one of the largest cities on the eastern Adriatic over 2,000 years ago.
Today, visitors can walk through the ruins of a once thriving city, past the amphitheatre, basilicas, city walls and early Christian cemeteries and experience the place where the story of Split truly begins. Scan the QR codes across the site and watch as augmented reality reconstructions bring ancient Salona back to life.
Surrounded by open landscapes, Salona is also a perfect photo spot and a beautiful escape from the crowds of the old town. A visit here is not just a trip to archaeological ruins. It is a chance to discover the true origins of the city and the spirit of Dalmatia.

Žnjan Beach (6)

Relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the sparkling Adriatic at Žnjan Beach – a state-of-the-art modern city beach. Grab a coffee at one of the beach cafés, play sports on the open courts, or let the kids have fun at the playgrounds. It’s the perfect stop to unwind and enjoy a full range of activities or slow down and relax, like a true local.

• Duration of one loop: 90 minutes
• Meeting Point: Obala Lazareta 3, 21000, Split
• Not included: Entrance fees for certain sites. However, passengers may receive discounted admission to some attractions through the bus staff.
• Accessibility: Double-decker buses are equipped with a wheelchair ramp. Access to the open-top upper deck requires climbing several steps. Other buses do not have ramps. Wheelchair storage space is available on all buses.
• Dogs on a leash or in a carrier are permitted on the bus
• Weather Preparedness: On open-top buses, passengers are advised to use sun protection on bright days and wear wind-resistant clothing during windy conditions, especially in spring and autumn.

Entrance fees for all destinations are not included in the tour price.

A guided walking tour of Split Old Town is included with every bus line ticket. Led by knowledgeable local guides, this immersive experience brings the city’s rich history and traditions to life during an approximately one-hour tour. The main highlight is Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose ancient walls have sheltered more than seventeen centuries of continuous urban life and formed the cradle of medieval and modern Split, making it one of the world’s most remarkable living monuments.
